A Night To Remember

When I was first found out that my girlfriend was a belly dancer I was pretty shocked. I would say that it took at least a month before I got to see her in action, but worth the wait.  Dating a belly dancer wasn't something that popped in my head when I thought of a bucket list, however it definitely should have been. Nowadays I always try to attend her performances, no matter how big or small they may be.

Last weekend she preformed with her mom, Maria Parasson, who is the dance instructor of Yallah Mariah of Canton, Ohio. The group was the opening act of an auction in Akron Civic Theatre. They had to belly dance for around twenty minutes on stage. I thought they did wonderfully, but they always do. During the performance I captured some photos of the group as well as after. Below you will see pictures of Yallah Mariah as well and my mom and I!

I was glad that my mom was able to attend with me. Going to college and starting my photography business has really limited the amount of time that I am able to spend with her, so it's moments like these that I am grateful for.  I'm also grateful that the weather in Ohio is becoming warmer finally.

Today it was 81 degrees Fahrenheit and I had to take senior photos. Phew. It was very nice to finally sit in my air conditioned car afterwords. I find it funny how just a couple weeks ago I was looking forward to the heat, now I just wish it was cooler. Last week it actually snowed so maybe I should appreciate the heat just a little more.

Anyways, thank you for reading and stay tuned for more blogs! This semester of college is finally ending so I should be able to write these more frequently.
